Step 1: Complete the Application Form

Fill out the Application form.

Step 2: Submit Supplemental Materials:

Please send the following items to info@lebanonandbeyond.org as part of your applaction:

1. Resume / Curriculum Vitae: maximum 2 pages.

2. Statement of purpose: share your reasons for wanting to participate in the Jouzour Program.

   We accept the following:

   • A written statement (500-word, double-spaced).

   • A video statement (maximum 4 minutes).

   • An artistic creation (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture) accompanied by an artistic statement (maximum 250 words, double-spaced).

     If you would like to discuss another statement of purpose not listed here (e.g., a collection of poems, a dance performance, or anything else “outside the box”), please reach out to us to discuss your proposal.

     Note: Any format beyond the three listed above that has not been pre-approved by Jouzour program directors will not be accepted.

3. Two letters of recommendation:

   1. One letter from a community leader - reputable member of your local Lebanese community (club, organization, church, mosque, etc.)

   2. One letter from your current or previous academic institution, or employer:

      • If you are at a university or college, please submit at least one (1) from a professor.

      • If you have pursued vocational training, please submit at least one (1) from a supervisor or other mentor.

4. Most recent official transcript.

   • If you entered vocational training, please submit your most recent certifications.

   • If you did not pursue education beyond high school, please submit your high school transcript.
